Job Summary: Technical Designer should be comfortable in design. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT is required. Senior Designer l should be able to carry most projects from beginning to end with limited questions. This designer should be honing skills on communication and coordination and focusing on training down to other team members. Technical Designer should begin to see the big picture and help their department stay organized. Completed work needs overview only. Should have a firm understanding of codes, EMA’s design process, and be able to consistently complete job deliverables and deadlines on time. Education/ Requirements: • Associates of Applied Science in Engineering Design Technology, Certificate of Proficiency in Computer-Aided Drafting, or Engineering degree required. Passing of the Fundamentals of Engineering test preferred but not required. |
