Job Summary:

The Human Resources Assistant helps the Human Resources Department with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources department. The HR assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training and development, engagement program, benefits, organization development, executive administration, and employment.


Job responsibilities include:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations in the Human Resources Department.
  • Assist with updating and regular maintenance of employee’s Paid Time Off.
  • Collect Timesheets weekly and send reminders when necessary.
  • Maintain the Employee Navigator website
  • Coordinate new employee orientation manuals including insurance enrollment paperwork, 401(K) information, PTO policy information, and general Ajera training.
  • Place job ads for open positions
  • Help update and maintain the company Learning Management System.
  • Coordinate interviews with prospective candidates
  • Assist with The OAD tool – Help manage invitations and results for new hires and current employees
  • Help maintain and observe company engagement program.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of year-round events and meetings.
  • Assist where needed with:
    Company benefits
    401(K) plan
    Processing in new hires
    Policy Manual
  • Other duties assigned.


  • High School diploma required.
  • Pursuing a Business Degree with a focus on Human Resources or similar field.
