St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church

Project Overview

Our team provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design services for the sanctuary renovations at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Flint, Texas. The 16,388-square-foot renovation aimed to enhance the worship experience while preserving the spiritual and architectural integrity of the existing space. Our MEP scope included upgrading aging systems to improve efficiency, occupant comfort, and system reliability, all while minimizing disruption to ongoing parish activities.

We designed a new HVAC system tailored to the unique acoustic and airflow needs of a large sanctuary space, ensuring quiet operation and balanced temperature control throughout the facility. Electrical upgrades included enhanced interior and accent lighting to highlight architectural and liturgical elements, as well as modernized audio/visual infrastructure to support both traditional and contemporary services. Plumbing systems were evaluated and upgraded to meet current code requirements and improve overall water efficiency. Our team worked closely with the parish and design partners to deliver MEP solutions that support the church’s mission and long-term needs
