Our team provided full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering design services for the new Bossier Parish Library, a modern facility designed to serve as a community hub for learning, creativity, and connection. The new library features a variety of spaces—including reading areas, meeting rooms, makerspaces, and technology labs—requiring a flexible and efficient MEP design to support diverse programming and future adaptability.
The HVAC system was designed for optimal comfort and energy performance, incorporating zoned controls to accommodate the building’s varying occupancy levels and usage types. Our electrical design included energy-efficient lighting systems with advanced controls to support both function and ambiance, as well as robust power and data infrastructure to support the library’s extensive technology offerings. Plumbing systems were developed to support public restrooms, staff areas, and potential café spaces, all while meeting modern sustainability standards. Throughout the project, we collaborated closely with the architect and client to ensure the MEP systems aligned with the library’s mission to foster an inclusive and engaging environment for Bossier Parish residents.
