We provided MEP design services for the comprehensive renovation of UT Health's Behavioral Health facility in Tyler, Texas, transforming three floors into a state-of-the-art psychiatric hospital. Our team engineered innovative MEP solutions for a range of specialized spaces, including patient rooms, seclusion rooms, an admissions area, and a crisis stabilization unit. The design prioritized patient safety and comfort while supporting the unique needs of behavioral health care delivery. We implemented advanced systems to create a therapeutic environment, incorporating features like anti-ligature fixtures and robust security measures. The renovated group activity areas now foster a sense of community and healing, equipped with carefully designed lighting and climate control systems to enhance patient well-being. This project showcases our expertise in creating environments that promote mental health recovery and support the dedicated staff in their critical work.
